Details
Lamar Peters was born into a prominent musical family in Astoria, New York. His father, Gregg Peters was one of the first ETAs.
As the youngest of three, Lamar spent a lot of time with his father and developed a love and desire to perform at the age of four. Lamar got his start professionally at 5 as a backup dancer in his father’s shows. At 15 Lamar entered a local singing contest and won first place.
By his twenties, Lamar was an award-winning ETA performing for Legends in Concert and paved the way for other tribute artists, being the first hired to perform as an ETA in famous and notable venues in New York City, such as B.B. Kings Blues Club.
Today, he has his own show and holds multiple titles and awards.
