Keeping The Memory Alive!
From Parkers Cove, Newfoundland, to the legendary streets of Memphis, AL Eagle has spent over four decades honoring the voice, spirit, and soul of Elvis Presley.
Born Albert Murphy on August 24, 1964, AL grew up in a home filled with Elvis’s music. His fascination began on August 16, 1977, the day Elvis died — just one month before AL lost his own father. At 13, he found comfort in Elvis’s voice, inspired by the 1979 Kurt Russell film Elvis. His first performance, “Old Shep,” earned him second place in a high school talent show.
Albert Murphy, also known as AL Eagle, is a distinguished Elvis Tribute Artist who has been bringing the magic of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s eras of Elvis Presley to life. His participation in prestigious events such as the “Images of the King” contest in Memphis during '93 and '94, and his consistent presence at the Collingwood Elvis Festival from '96 to '99, as well as the annual Elvis Night at “Hutch’s on the Beach” in Hamilton, ON from 1996 to 2015, showcases his dedication to his craft. His commitment to music therapy, particularly for individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease, highlights his compassionate nature. Having met icons like The Stamps and The Jordanaires, and having recorded at the legendary Sun Studios, AL has experienced moments that most ETA’s can only dream of.
Currently, AL's passion is performing for various senior residences around Newfoundland & Labrador providing Music Therapy. "it is very emotioanl watching someone who has Alzhimers sing along remembering all the words of Elvis with me" AL Said.
AL performs many "Private Functions" such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, sadly funerals. However, AL every year will pay trbute to Elvis Presley's passing which was on August 16, 1977 & Elvis's Birthday which is January 8th, 1935. Check Out AL's Event Schedule.
